This is Lady. She came from a neglected situation and has come such a long way with the help of harmony horsemanship.
Today we accomplished a full liberty session at a canter and she responded so well. It has taken so long but I am finally feeling like we are connected and she is enjoying and looking forward to her “play” time with me.
Today we went by a big scary tractor that was harrowing and she didn’t even flinch with me on her back. She used to buck and try to run away with her body tense and head high. Can’t say it enough how happy I was with her.

A little update to share on Simba! Harmony Horsemanship has given our horse a new lease on life.
Deemed a dangerous horse to be around other horses & riders a few months ago (many said to put him down) now a week after doing his first step up on a pedestal, we challenged him!
We wanted Simba to try the first time outside with three horses riding in the ring on one side and a field full of horses on the other in full tack!
He rose to the challenge and was a perfect gentleman. Harmony Horsemanship has not only given our horse confidence but us too! Thank you!

I TOOK MY HORSE TO THE BEACH! AND I CRIED THE WHOLE TIME.
I never thought I'd own a horse and I never thought we'd go on adventures.
2.5 years into horse life and having worked so hard on despooking and confidence that we trailered to the beach and explored this morning!
My horse was waayyyyyyyy calmer then (other horses with other people on the trip)! (Others were) sweaty, veiny, pooping, and upset.
My boy was cool and collected! By the end he was sniffing seaweed and tidal pools and just as happy as a clam!
I'm so so so proud of the work we have done and the relationship we have built! Didn't get good pictures because we were having too much fun!

"I saw proof this weekend about the benefits of building connection and trust with Harmony Horsemanship.
I have been studying with HH for about a year now.
My mare had a vet check with lots of tests, including the terrifying plastic bag over the nose.
Whenever she became uneasy, she looked at me. I would tell her it was okay and when she relaxed,
I used my ‘yes’ word. This happened about 3 times. Each time I said yes, she relaxed and lowered her head.
She didn’t take a step for the entire time of the exam and vaccinations.
I know this mare will do anything I ask because we have built trust.
